We also ask all of our patients to join us and to wear a face mask as well. As always, we ask that any patient or family member who displays symptoms such as a cough, fever, or shortness of breath to reschedule appointments until they are symptom-free for at least 72 hours.

ABOUT US
Jonathan D. Kaplan, DPM
Dr. Jonathan Kaplan has been in practice in the Newton Wellesley area since 1991. Originally from New Rochelle, New York, he received his undergraduate degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo and earned his Doctorate in Podiatry from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery.
Dr. Kaplan completed his residency in New York and then traveled to Hayward, California to finish his advanced surgical training at Kaiser Permanente Hospital. Dr. Kaplan has been on the active staff at Newton Wellesley Hospital since 1991 and is also a staff Podiatrist at Hebrew Rehabilitation Center. He is the chief of the Podiatry team for the Boston Marathon and has been volunteering at this event for over 20 years. He is board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and is a fellow of the American College of Foot & Ankle Surgeons.
His clinical interests include sports medicine injuries related to the lower extremities, bunion surgery and treatments for heel pain/plantar fasciitis.
Dr. Kaplan is married to Alyssa Kaplan and they have two children, Traci and Jeffrey. Dr. Kaplan is an avid sports fan and enjoys playing golf, basketball, cycling and works out regularly at the gym.
